Demonizing Ahmadinejad

First off, I’m not calling the man a saint. Nor am I asserting that there aren’t instances of possible human rights violations in the country’s past. However, I have a tough time believing the current propaganda about Iran beaing a “terrorist state” or part of the “axis of evil”.

Whether it’s due to neo-conservative (PNAC) influence, Pro-Israel influence (more on these in seperate posts), irresponsible “journalism” or a combination of the three, it seems pretty obvious (to me, anyway) that we are being intentionally misled into yet another conflict.

Some items for thought:

1.  Ahmadinejad quotes taken out of context or manipulated

     A. Calling for the detruction of Israel and denying the Holocaust

     B. Denying the presence of homosexuality in Iran
